Sangam Chatterjee currently holds a Full Professorship at the Institute of Experimental Physics I, Justus-Liebig-University Giessen. His research interests include optoelectronic properties of novel semiconductor materials with focus on collective excitations and relaxation dynamics as well as advanced high-brightness sources. Furthermore, he is engaged in materials growth by Molecular Beam Epitaxy of III-V and Group –IV compounds, Ion-Beam Sputter Deposition of advanced oxides and Atomic Layer Deposition. He has >100 peer reviewed publications including several patents. In his seminar presentation “Supercontinuum generation of SnS based clusters” he discussed the generation and characterization of white-light by supercontinuum sources.
